Nanzen-Ji Gateway

Nanzen-Ji is the spectacular Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto.  It was established in 1291 and features a beautiful gateway called the Sanmon.

The Sanmon was originally built in 1369 but was destroyed and then subsequently reconstructed.
